It takes both - a good standalone and a good tuner.

I am really impressed with Haltech and what SZ was able to do for me, given we discovered a VTC issue. Once I have the VTC issue resolved, oh boy... This car is going to be crazy.

If it can be fixed without pulling the engine, that would be great. But if the engine is coming out and cylinder head is coming off, it might be time for some "upgrades."

As vorpalZ said to me, "it's not broken, it's an upgrade opportunity." GTX2860s anyone?
